At Advanced Pet Care of Sedalia, transparency and trust form the foundation of our policies.
Our Policies: Transparency and Trust
Appointment Policy
To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we sincerely attempt to see each client on time.
Drop-off appointments are available for your convenience. A ‘drop off’ means you could bring your pet when it is best for you and leave them with us for a few hours. Usually, we will ask you to drop us off in the morning between 8 and 8:30 am so our doctor can examine the patient between appointments or at the time purposely reserved for admitted patients. Once the doctor has completed the exam, they will give you a call to go over the diagnosis and treatment options and to provide you with discharge instructions.
Please kindly give 24 hours notice for cancellation of your appointment. Clients with repeated offenses of cancellations or no-showing for appointments will incur cancellation fees on their accounts.
Clients are REQUIRED to be respectful and courteous to ALL staff and other clients and patients.
Patient Arrival Policy
For your protection and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms.
All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash.
Illness policy
If you are not feeling well or have a fever within the last 72 hours, please reschedule your appointment or make arrangements with a friend or family member to bring your pet in for its appointment. We also offer curbside service, collecting and returning your pet outside the building from/to you.
Payment Policy
We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept cash, credit, check, and CareCedit.
